During the intermission between Crystal and Emerald. The streamer put on Catz GBA as one of our games to play. The streamer wanted to take a break from administering our games and gave the hivemind this game in hopes it wouldn't break it like the other games the Hive Mind was given to play in the intermission up to that point (Telefang for example). Unfortunately, the mob glitched Catz as well.
Michael Catson, originally named BBCDDD by the hivemind during creation. The hivemind lead BBCDDD into an area that the game is programmed to deem impossible. As an attempt to correct the "error", the game had BBCDDD walk to get out of the glitch zone. The game never acknowledged BBCDDD walking out of the danger zone, causing him to walk in place without moving. Because the streamer was taking a break, the hivemind watched BBCDDD walk in place trying to get out of the glitched zone for hours on end.
Because of the catchy music playing in the background, and because BBCDDD looks like it's moonwalking when it's not moving, the chat began to spam [ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ He's not dead he's DANCING ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ] in the chat. Furthermore, because the emulator has no GBA internal clock, the ingame time was always 10:00 PM, so [└༼ຈل͜ຈ༽┐ ♫ PARTY LIKE IT'S 10PM ┌༼ຈل͜ຈ༽┘♪] was also spammed in chat.
BBCDDD has been dubbed "Micheal Catson" for his dance moves at such a daring time of night!
In the lore, Catson was a ordinary house cat who manipulated the voices into picking it. His mind was blown by the experience, causing it to moonwalk forever. Curiosity killed the cat.
- BBCDDD in html colors is a similar colour to Caton's fur.
